If you are looking for luxury train travel the Grandluxe is NOT the trip that I can recommend. We took one of the trips on this train and it was awful. It was dirty and very hot. Anyone with asthma or any breathing problems would certainly have serious problems. I did not think that the trip was worth the very expensive cost because it did not deliver what it promised.

Hm..interesting comment. What route did you happen to go on? I have a hard time believing that all of the grandluxe train tours are as you described. Could it be possible that your trip was just a fluke? I may look for other reviews to see if other customers have similar views as you.

If you check out trip advisor you will see several that had similar problems on other trips. After the trip we contacted Grandluxe and they did not give us the courtesy of a reply nor did they reply to the Denver Area Business Bureau.

I am sorry; I should have mentioned we were on the National Parks of the West tour for a cost of more than $12,000.
